My wife was stopped on the i-94 freeway in detroit, mi. a vehicle was closing in behind her at a high rate of speed, and crashed into the rear end of the vehicle. her vehicle then lunged forward and hit the vehicle in front of her. the front and rear of the vehicle experienced significant damage, yet none of the airbags in the vehicle deployed. my wife's head contacted the steering wheel. she was transported by ambulance to the hospital for evaluation. she currently has a fractured nose, and severely swollen/black&blue eyes. we have 2 children under the age of 5, who thankfully were not in the vehicle. the fireman on the scene had stated that he has been working as a fireman for 18 years, and he has never seen a vehicle with as much frontal damage in which the airbags did not deploy. we have filed a claim with our insurance company, and fully expect the vehicle to be totaled out due to the significant damage. i have since taken many pictures of the damage, and can send them to you if you provide an actual email address. *tr

I received mailed information on safety recall k25 for a 2008 chrysler town & country, which stated that an hvac drain tube and grommet could leak and, in part, cause the airbag warning light to come on. shortly after i receved this notice, the light did come on, so i took the van in for repairs. the recall work was supposedly done but the light is still on and now the dealership is asking for $100 to look at it. based on previous dealings with them i know this garage is dishonest and i question whether the work was even completed. is there a way i can get this repaired properly?
