 Tl- the contact owns a 2009 chrysler town & country. the contact stated that the sleeves that hold the valve stems in place had deteriorated preventing him from using the vehicle. the contact mentioned that the only thing holding the valve stem in place was the tire pressure. the dealer was made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure and current mileage was 40,000. pmb

 While driving on highway at 55mph, drivers side rear power operated sliding door started to open. infant children in back seats, secured with seat belts in car seats. . pulled over, stopped, and door reclosed electrically on it's own. started up and drove approximately 1/8 mile and door started to open again. pulled over, and door closed on it's own. tried to reopen with outside handle, and seemed to be locked. then after driving 10-15 miles and exiting vehicle, door would not open electrically. reported condition to local chrysler dealer, arranged for service and wiring harness on door replaced under warrantee. (vehicle 36 month warrantee just expired same day as event).
