 Tl-the contact owns a 2011 chrysler town and country. the contact was driving 45 mph when the vehicle abnormally accelerated to 70 mph. the vehicle started to decelerate but abnormally accelerated again until the brake was depressed and by the contact. the steering wheel also started to shake and bounce as the vehicle was merged onto the shoulder. the contact exited the vehicle and discovered that the front passenger side tire was on fire. the fire was extinguished and the police were notified. the vehicle was towed to the dealer who ran a diagnostic test but could not determine the cause of the failure. the dealer replaced the brake pads and the tire. the manufacturer was not notified of the failure. the failure mileage was 15,000. kmj

 Tl-the contact owns a 2011 chrysler town and country. the contact stated while driving 45 mph there was sudden acceleration up to 70 mph the vehicle started to slow down but acclerated again until the brake was depress and the vehicle slowed down. at the time the vehicle was slowing down the steering started to shimmer and bounce and then was merged onto the shoulders. when they exit the vehicle the right front passenger tire was on fire. they extinguished the fire and notified the police there was no report available. no one was injured. the vehicle was towed to the dealer who ran a diagnostic test but could not find the failure. they replaced the brake pads and repaired the tire. the manufacturer was not notified. the failure was 15,000. mw

 Van lunges after being at a complete stop before you push the gas. cruise control unstable, revs very high and stays that was until vehicle is stopped. dealer says this is normal.

 Tl-the contact owns a 2011 chrysler town and country. the contact stated that while driving approximately 70 mph with the cruise control activated. as the contact attempted to apply the brakes to deactivate the cruise control, the vehicle continued to accelerate to 100 mph. the contact then shut off the vehicle in order to stop the acceleration. the vehicle was later taken to the dealer where they advised him that the floor mat was the cause of the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was approximately 11,700. the vin was unavailable. kmj

 Tl-the contact owns a 2011 chrysler town and country. the contact stated that while driving approximately 70 mph with the cruise control on. when the driver tried to brake and deactivate the cruise control the vehicle continued to accelerate to 100 mph. the driver suddenly shut the vehicle off in order to get the vehicle to stop. the vehicle was later taken to a dealer and they advised him that the floor mat was cause. the vehicle had not been repaired. the failure mileage was approximately 11,700. the vin was unavailable. tb
