 Today my 2008 town & country driver seat belt automatic locking retractors stop working. the seat belt do not return to the original position .all the belt is out from the device and do not retract back. the seat belt is unoperating. i buckle up because i don't want be stop by a police,but in case of an accident is nothing to protect me. i visit efird dealer in florence sc but they want to charge $170 for lavor and $109 for the part plus tax. i concider this problem with the seat belt retractors is a safety issue that need be address without any cost to the costumer. i appreciate your assistance in this matter. thanks.

 Tl. the contact owns a 2008 chrysler town & country. the contact stated while stopped at stop sign the another vehicle crash into the rear of the contacts vehicle. during crash the second row seat on the passenger side did not lock cause the child in the booster seat to be flipped upside down. no one was seriously injured except for soreness. the contact took the vehicle to a dealer. the dealer took the vehicle to a vacant parking lot to examine the seat belts in the second row. the dealer discovered the second row seat belts do not lock when the vehicle is in a crash. the dealer called the manufacturer regarding the second row seat belts but the manufacturer has not notified the dealer or the contact about any actions. the contact stated the seat belts are unsafe and will cause serious injury during a crash. the failure mileage was 40,000. jo
