Defect SummaryThe braun corporation is recalling certain model year 2008 through 2010 chrysler town & country and dodge caravan commercial entervans which were altered by braun between january 21, 2009 and march 19, 2010. during conversion, the chassis was raised and the floor was lowered to accommodate wheelchair accessibility features. in raising the chassis, the fuel fill pipe comes into closer proximity to the left rear tire. in rough or aggressive driving situations, the tire may intermittently contact the fuel fill pipe.

I just purchased a brand new 2010 chrysler town and country. it had 9 miles on it when we bought it, and within the first 100 miles into a cross-country move, the right, rear window became unhinged. it is now hanging by a who knows what. we are stranded 300 miles from our final destination and chrysler has no idea whether this is a systemic manufacturing issue, a design issue, or even when and how it can be fixed. we have three children in car seats that ride in this minivan, and we know that there is significant risk to ourselves or others on the road if we drive with window that is not attached securely. chrysler has been non-responsive so far to this issue.
