 While driving at 55 mph consumer noticed smoke through the rear view mirror coming from the rear of vehicle. when this occurred vehicle hesitated to accelerate. within seconds of the consumer pulling over and existing the vehicle, it exploded. the fire inspector indicated that the cause of the fire was due to a fuel tank leak. *ak the vehicle accelerated from 55 mph to 85 mph on its own. *sc

 The vehicle experienced the same defect as mentioned in nhtsa recall 02v293000; clockspring failure; the dealership indicated that this is the same problem but this vehicle is not included due to the vin. *nm started with the clicking sound on the steering column, then followed by the air bag light coming on intermittently. after a day or so, cruise control and horn were not working. clock spring was replaced and now all is working. *la
