Defect Summary | Vehicle description: motor homes built on freightliner chassis and equipped with caterpillar engines and felsted electronic accelerator pedals. the return springs can break on the accelerator pedals that are equipped with stainless steel or electroplated music wire return springs. | |||||||||||||||

1999 class a motorhomes with ford f-53 chassis abs sensor engineering defect. *bf the consumer stated the warning light would come on for no apparent reason and stay on for miles. it was discovered the left abs brake wire had been worn through by the brake rotor, which caused the wire to short out. the wire was properly mounted but when the consumer made turns, the wire would hit the rotor. *jb |
