Corrective SummaryDealers will install new energy absorbing air bag mounting brackets. owner notification began july 23, 2002. owners who take their vehicles to an authorized dealer on an agreed upon service date and do not receive the free remedy within a reasonable time should contact daewoo at 1-877-362-1234, selection 1.

 Recallm 02v131001/fmvss 201 air bag deployment, and 04 v04357 000 concerning camshaft position sensor. consumer received two recall notices, and was unable to get the dealer to honor the recall. dealer refuse to honor recall because the consumer did not purchase their vehicle from them. consumer needs to provide the dealer information.
