Defect Summary | Vehicle description: travel trailers. the fan-light appliance can fail (most commonly involving a failure of the fan motor) which can result in an overload in the coiled power supply wires, which could melt the wires. | |||||||||||||||
Consequence Summary | This condition can cause an electrical short, and possibly a fire. | |||||||||||||||
Corrective Summary | Owners will be sent a mailer for the return of this fan-light appliance and in turn will be sent two portable lights as replacements. if an owner does not want the two lights as replacements, coachmen is offering reimbursement for the fan/light appliances. | |||||||||||||||
