| I have had three continental contitrac as p245/75r16 tires fail due to tread separation in the last 4 years. this latest incident resulted in $2,000.00 worth of damage to my vehicle. i was mailed a recall notice sevral years ago for these tires but was told my tires were not part of the recall. the latest failure was on a tire with dot number ad70 449 447. i believe these tires are dangerous and that continental tires should do something about it. if they choose not to i would suggest you all investigate this matter thoroughly, as i have never experienced any tread separation problems with any other tires on either this vehicle or any other vehicle in my life. three separations on the exact same tires in a matter of a few years is inexcusable. please reply as i would be interested to know what my options are.*ak | |||
