| Check engine light is on. strong smell of gas when vehicle is shut off. vehicle stalls at slow speeds. can't tell the engine quit as the rpms bottom out and engine dies. very dangerous for driving. no control after the engine stops. this happened twice today. first time was in traffic in a town at a stop light. couldn't restart the engine for awhile and couldn't get the truck out of traffic. second time slowed to turn around in a driveway entrance and backed up when i came to a stop to shift to d the engine stalled and i didn't know it. my truck was at an angle crossing 2 lanes of taffic. luckily, i was able to get it restarted. i googled the problem and it seems to be very common and dangerous with limited success on finding a repair solution. | |||

| The complaint i have is related to my 2004 dodge ram 1500. i have experienced the turn signals do not respond accordingly or not at all. if turning left, the right signal would come on, if turning right, the left signal would come on or not at all. this issue has also affected my windshield wipers speed. i no longer have a high speed wiper option. i feel this is an extremely dangerous issue as vehicles behind me or in front of me will not know which way i am turning or switching lanes if the need is there. i have to continuously have to jiggle the steering wheel to get the signals to work. there are several reports of this issue with various years of the dodge trucks and durangos and believe this should be a recall issue. thank you for your time. | |||

| The panel on the drivers side (with the handle) broke when using it to assist myself into truck which caused me to fall out the truck. there is no other handle to use to get into truck. i was told by dealer that this is not what the handle is to be used for. i'm sure the passenger side is ready to break too. part number i replaced was 5gr29tl2ag | |||
