 While traveling 35 mph right front brake pad fell off. no accident or injuries accurred. made excessive noise. replaced brakes several times. while trying to stop on wet pavement rear brakes locked up. have had several near misses. has taken to dealer once. *ak

 Rear (abs) brakes would cause a shimmying effect when applied. problem had occurred twice before. front (abs) brakes were three times replaced, including pads and shoes/rotors and calipers. took vehicle to dealership & was informed that drums needed to be cut. the problem was intermittent. dealer offered to accept vehicle as a trade-in. *ak *ml

 When coming to a stop light & applying the brakes, brake pedal went to the floor, causing extended stopping distance. taken to dealer at leased 4 times. was informed problem cannot be duplicated. brakes wearing excessively. the abs module is causing the problem. happens intermittently. now on 3rd set of pads. *ak

 Consumer was driving vehicle on the road at approximately 50 mph, normal road condition; consumer was driving and approaching a blind curve when the vehicle in front caused consumer to apply brakes in an emergencey situation. rear abs failed to operate and the front wheels locked up on the vehicle, causing the consumer to hit rear of front vehicle. driver sustained a neck injury. *ak

 While applying the brakes vehicle swerved to the right. consumer was able to maintain control of the vehicle, and drove it to the dealer for inspection. mechanic determined that rotors and calipers needed to be replaced, and replaced it twice. however, the problem recurred. *ak
