| When i adjusted the steering wheel to a different position an apparent electrical failure shut down the engine and the power steering and power brakes rendering the truck almost uncontrollable at that speed. this catastrophic failure was replicated at different speeds and while startionary. apparently any movement of the steering wheel will shut off complete power to the engine and cause a total loss of power to the vehicle. | |||

| 2000 dodge 2500 ram van. air conditioning compressor 12 volt clutch, which draws 4.5 amps measured is fused at 20 amps , the power to this fuse only goes to one place the clutch. the wire appears to be #24 gauge which may be ok for the 5 amps or so but not for 10amps or more so why the invitation to a wiring harness fire by powering that line with a 20 amp fuse? i noted this condition after i had an airconditioning clutch problem. and found wires in the harness burnt and melted togather in the harness. | |||

| Consumer has been having a problem with vehicle since 3 days after purchasing it. vehicle will start up, but cuts off when in reverse. dealer was suppose to be fixing it. they said fuel was bad during winter. computer in engine will not allow enough fuel to keep engine running.*ak the dealer tried to replace the computer, but when the problem got worse, he put back in the original computer. the consumer states that this problem is a major safety issue since the extreme temperatures are life threatning if the vehcile stops runing suddenly. *yh | |||

| Twice while driving the 2000 dodge 2500 club cab the engine stalled suddenly. *nm the consumer was able to stop the vehicle with the emergency brake. once the consumer was bale to restart the vehicle he drove to the dealer where they replaced the fuel pump. the fuel pump failed again, the dealer informed the consumer to expect it to fail again for the third time. the starter had to be replaced and the consumer experienced problems with sluggish shifting. *jb *nm | |||
