Electrical fire on computer modular and fuse box causing vehicle to try to start and moved on its own about 150 yards. key was not in the truck, it was parked. when discovered lights were on and windshield wipers & washers was on. batteries had to be disconnected to shut down truck. if truck had not been found when it was it would have burnt to the ground. truck was towed into dealership three weeks ago. dodge is blaming this problem on the installation of utility bed which was done three years ago by spillards in austin, tx. which has been installing beds since 1987. we are getting the total run around from dodge! dodge has now replaced the computer modular and now claims both batteries are burnt up due to this problem. this is a safety issue on this truck. it could have created a wreck or killed someone when it went out of control.
