| Tl-the contact owns a 1999 dodge grand caravan. the contact has tire brand yokahama, tire line avid touring, and the size 215/65/r15. while driving at highway speeds the contact stated that the front drivers side tire suddenly had a blow out. after stopping and inspecting the tire he noticed that it was the sidewall that had actually blown. the tire has not been inspected by the manufacturer nor has it been repaired. the failure mileage was approximately 25,000. the vin was unavailable. tb | |||

| Alleged separation of tire (rubber separation from steel belt) under normal operations. i am trying to find an indepent third-party to determine the matter. the tire seller claims that the damage to the tires is the result of impromper front-end alignment. a different service claims that the damage is the result of manufacturer defect, and not merely from misalignment. my concern is that if these tires are defective, then the ntsb/ntsa needs to be informed.*ak | |||
