 While sitting at an intersection and then applying the accelerator pedal vehicle hesitated then stalled. consumer restarted vehicle, and drove it to the dealer for inspection. mechanic claimed that the problem could not be duplicated. *ak

 When vehicle was not running, it rolled down a hill at 40 mph and airbags did tot deploy. dealer notified. *ak

 Tl*the contact owns a 2002 dodge caravan. in 2007, the contact broadsided another vehicle and neither front air bags deployed. there were no injuries, but the vehicle sustained $3,800 worth of damage. a police report was filed and the vehicle was repaired. prior to the crash, the horn and cruise control failed, and the air bag light flickered and then remained illuminated. there was a recall from 1998 to 2000 regarding the clock spring. the speed and vin were unknown. the current mileage was 74,000 and failure mileage was 73,000.

 Air bag lamp remains on. diagnosed at dealer as clockspring failure. cruise control issues as well. like so many other caravan owners. *ak

 Dt*: the contact stated the vehicle stalled intermittently and occurred at no particular speed; however, the vehicle immediately restarted. the vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnostic testing, but the problem could not be duplicated. update 5/2/2006 - all the dash lights flickered and the cruise control light illuminated. the dealer replaced the battery. *nm
