| I own a 2010 challenger r/t. while driving at approx. 30mph, i slowed to make a left turn and vehicle lights went out, loss of all power, and engine turned off. i coasted to curb and without touching the key, the vehicle restarted right back up. again the next day while pulling out of a parking lot onto a busy street, vehicle shut off while turning left, except i was crossing the lane of oncomming traffic. again, it restarted with no help from me. no accident caused, but an oncomming vehicle came to about 3 feet of my drivers door before stopping. (40mph street) i read that this is occurring a lot with 08-10 challengers and would love it fixed before my 17y/o daughter takes it out and gets t-boned and injured or worse. | |||

| Vehicle intermittently stalls. i have about 6500 miles on the car and it has happened about a month ago and again today. i took vehicle directly to the dealer when it happened today. they are still working on it. almost total loss of control of vehicle when it stalls....extremely difficult to brake or turn steering wheel....and i am 6' 3 tall and over 200 lbs. couldn't imagine if this happened to my wife when she is driving the car | |||

| 2010 srt8 challenger stalls after running highway speeds (70-80 mph) on slow down as to get off a exit ramp, or to turn into a rest stop, gas station. proper speed to gear ratio assumed. clutch fully suppressed or while moving. also stalls on take off (traffic light, stop sign) in rolling condition, again proper speed to gear ratio assumed. identifiers: low oil light, no steering, all the bells and whistles of a stalled vehicle. sometimes will start immediately sometimes not. dealer states no codes no issues. | |||

| Engine stall out on my 2010 dodge challenger srt8 6.1l hemi. the car has stalled out under normal driving conditions four times since i bought the car april 3, 2010. twice while making a slow turn from a stop, once from while at speed 35mph on a steady run down a city block, and again while coming to stop at a light. i took the challenger in to the dealership in april and they found nothing wrong with the car and recently took the car back in last weekend and they said the abs sensor module (part #68048305ac module anti-lock brake sys) had gone bad and may be causing the issue. i have had no issues this week but i am not convinced that this issue may be resolved yet. | |||

| I was pulling up to a stop and turn right to enter the freeway as the car rolled to a stop the oil light came on and the engine died. this is the second time this has happened with this car:2010 dodge r/t challenger. the first time this happened the transmission would not engage immediately after i restarted the engine in neutral then shifted to drive. i had exited the freeway turned right went up an incline and stopped at a light and the engine stalled in traffic. | |||

| Had been driving the car for approx. 1.5 hours, approached a red light and traffic in front of me had stopped abruptly forcing me to make a fast stop. not a full force stop but a quick reaction/sudden stop. then my car stalled out and the oil light came on. i put it in park and restarted the car. it started right back up. i put it in drive but it hesitated to move for approximately 3-5 seconds, then took off. the car had approximately 2000 miles on it. currently it has almost 3000 miles. this had happened once before this incident also as i was slowing down to make a left hand turn onto the street i live on. same thing, car restarted right up. that was with about 1000 miles on the car. i have an appointment with the dealership to see if they can detect something. however, i've read on some forums that it has been happening to these cars quite a bit in automatics 5.7 and 6.1 motors. my fear is that me or a member of my family, as well as some unsuspecting other driver will run into either my back end or from the side if if stalls again while making a turn across oncoming traffic. thank you. | |||

| I just bought a 2010 dodge challenger srt8 in june. there has been 4 different occasions where the engine completely shuts off. i brake to turn and the engine shuts down and i see the oil light come on briefly. luckily, i havent been rear ended. i took it to the dealership, after keeping it for a week, they came back and said they found nothing wrong with the car. in addition, the headliner for the sunroof hangs down and the dealership tells me that it is on national back order. i am not the only one with this complaint....does it take a person getting killed before dodge recalls these cars. | |||

| 2010 dodge challenger r/t automatic transmission. while turning right car stalls and completely shuts off requiring the car to be put into park and restarted. fortunately on both occasions my wife was not rear ended. this is the second time this has occurred since owning the car. dealership was unable to duplicate the issue and no fix is known. srt engineers have stated in online forums that they are aware of the problem and are working on a fix. while researching this issue i found that this is a problem with several dodge vehicle models, based on the number of owners posting stories about this same issue. | |||
