| Could not move the gear selector out of park.forced it into reverse then into drive went on my way,its been several months and working just fine.no repairs needed.i hope i won't need to do that again,if it does happen again i might take it to the dealer or risk braking the dam thing. | |||

| Interlock brake lever broke. this is the piece that locks your car in park and you have to press brake peddal to release lock before shifting. car wont come out of park position. i have seen several complaints of this online for dodge and they are only willing to fix certain vin numbers. i would like mine to be considered being as it only had 30k miles when this happened. | |||

| I was leaving work, and entering i-285 off exit ramp, i saw a vehicle that was stopped ahead of me approx. a quarter of a mile up ahead of me, so i began to apply breaks to prepare to stop ahead...and i realized that my break pedal would not move or give in to even apply pressure to brake. i was going approx. 45 to 50mph...and i crashed and rear ended a car full force without any brakes at all. both airbags deployed...it was awful and the scariest thing that i have ever experienced. it resulted in a 4 car accident. i suffered a broken ankle in two places, torn foot ligaments, and burns from airbags. i am angry, because i found out about several recalls that are out with my cat that i was unaware of. i have had my car serviced with dodge on three different occassions prior to this happening within the past 6/7 months. something will be done about this...i could have died!!!!! | |||

| I could not shift the vehicle out of park. i had to push some pink release button to get the gear shift to move. now the piece that regulates the communication between the break and shifter was found to be broken. it appears other dodge charger owners have had a similiar problem. | |||

| My vehicle is stuck on park, turns out that the shift interlock or the pink thingy as most people know it as is a defective part on dodge vehicles but there are no known recalls for this problem. the vehicle has 70,000 miles. after i took the cover of the shifter off, i notice that the only way to get it to drive is to push on the pink plastic and it will allow it to go on reverse,neutral,drive. i did some research online and read that alot of people are having this problem but dodge is not fixing the problem. i contacted dodge and was told that they could not help me. | |||

| My 2007 dodge charger had coolant leaks that were repaired under warranty. i had to get a water pump replaced, under warranty. now i am being told i have engine sludge from the engine not cooling properly. why in the world is this not fixed under warranty? | |||

| Approaching traffic light transitioning from yellow to red, car is coasting at 20mph, proceeded to stop foot on the brake the brake was solid as the concrete pavement, the steering wheel could not move. the car did not stop proceeded forward hitting the car in front which was a fender bender, however total loss of a purchased brand new dodge charger which had gone to the service center every week after purchasing for a reset of the computer system jumping skipping stopping, however un - final answers it was always communicated the car was fine and good to go. as a result of the accident the ruling was not against me as a driver, however, an attorney who specilized in manufactured defects was a communication after several attorneys listened to the case but did not take on the representation. also as a result now 3 years later, $35,000 back surgery, continued medical bills, perm disabl permit due to inability to function normally before accident excruciating pain day in and out. no help no car personal insurance paid everything / gap when the attorney took case could not find the totaled car? ....there has to be something that can be done about that. one attorney stated the company is responsible, however stated it is a case that would be major. is one's debt and personal liability as a citizen not important enough to receive help towards this matter? i am afraid i will live in and suffer with this pain in debt til death! this is a case that falls in the gray area in the land of o well--- why shouldnt the dealership be responsible? why did the judge throw it out of court, to be against me? why cant i receive medical and loss of time an wages from an immediate emergency surgery? please help me i emailed the attorney general's office and was informed to connect with this line of communication. please help...!!!! i have to work or i will be homeless now what? | |||

| My car failed to go into gear, which this matter in on recall but i was told by dodge that my vin was not in system under the recall, putting in the vin could of been a error to. human error do happen but the manufacture should stand behind their cars, i had to pay for the repairs in full, i then have to send in my original reciept before chrysler will reimburse me $150 towards the repairs. i was without my car for 8 days. | |||

| After dealership changing all 8 coils and cam sensor there is no change in driveability. car still cuts out spontaneously, bucks, and snorts when doing simple (no drama) passes. i heard of these cars with this problem and i have a suspicion that the dealership will not find anything. i surely do not want my wife and kids to be driving on the freeway and have it just turn off on them!!! | |||

| I own a 2007 dodge charger. bigest piece of junk ever in my drive way. i was excited when the challenger came out, my daughter would get the charger and momma would get the new challenger. i can say, that wont be happening. in the three years i've had this car, i have had to spend several hundred dollars to have the transmission fixed from leaking fluid. a part i was told that was manufactured incorrecly, but no recall, i had to purchase the fix kit myself. within 6 months from this happening, the instrument cluster went out. loosing all electronics in the car. again, no recall another $600+ out of my pocket. now just this week the pink thinky has messed up. this left me stranded in any empty parking lot at work on a friday afternoon and my husband an hour away. thank goodness the mechanic shop i go to could tell me how to overide and get me home. of course i called the dodge dealership first, but low and behold the service department could not help me. the answear, i can send a tow truck. i do know there is an override but i'm not sure how it works. really! three things right there a recall should be issued on! this car should not have the problems it does without someone taking responsibility for correcting it. mitsibishi has dodge beat by along shot! 00 galant, was traded in for the charger with 260k miles on it, never spent 1 dime that was not for routine maintence, and it still ran, drove and handled like it did the day i bought it. but i just had to have the new dodge charger, big mistake on my part! there will never be another dodge anything in my driveway. i know dodge does not care, i'm just one out of millions but they should! dodge can go bankrupt totaly, and never manufactur another thing and my work would keep right on revolving! | |||

| My car shifter won't come out of park. i own a dodge charger 2007. had to get a tow truck to take car to mechanic. was told that they get an average of 2 of these cars per week for the same problem. checked in internet and found several complaints about the same problem. i want to get reimbursed from the chrysler/dodge company for this expense ($518) because this should be a recall issue for all the charger owners. | |||
