| When i took the truck into the dealership, i was still under extended warranty. istead of doing something about it, they blamed it on acid rain. when driving around you see the same make, from the year 91' to 93', peeling in the same spot. i really feel that this is not due to acid rain, it's due to the paint job in these models. no safety defect listed in summary. *ak | |||

| Paint is peeling due to defect in manufacturing process. this problem started in a small area on the engine hood, and has increased in size. also, the same problem is occurring with the roof top and left rear panel. many other dakotas of the same year are having the same problem. i have located other complaints regarding peeling paint on the web. | |||
