| I purchased a 2005 dodge durango brand new,and since i had this vehicle it has been given me problems. there were recalls on this vehicle. the vehicle idled very hard, and it shut off when it idled hard, while sitting at a traffic light or when turning to go around a ramp. when shutting off the wheel locked, and i could not control the car. recently, the care shut off on the new jersey turnpike and a tractor trailer truck was behind me. luckily, i was in the outer lane and managed to steer the car to the shoulder before the truck could hit me and my family. this was very dangerous. last incident happened on une 10, 2007. every time i took the car to the dealer they determined there was no problem. *ak | |||

| Shortly after i purchased my 2005 durango the plastic piece on where the seatbelt connects to the driver side seat came off. the dealer replaced it , and a few eeks later it happened again. this time it fell of the vehicle and was not noticed. a year after i purchased the vehicle the plastic around the driver's seat cracked along the whole side.*ak | |||

| Drivers side seat. plastic molding that goes around the seat belt on the left lower side. part keeps coming off. fell off a couple weeks after we purchased the durango. we took it back to the dealer, the entire part that wraps around had to be replaced. 2 weeks after having this repaired, it came off again. the first time, it fell off on the road when driver exited the durango. we did not realize it had come off and it got ran over by another driver. we will now have to take it back again for the 2nd time to be replaced. *jb | |||
