| I have a 2006 dodge durango that spews gasoline all over the car, the person filling the tank (if you are not careful) and the ground whenever you are filling it up. i have researched and found there was a recall for the 2005 model year but have only been able to find complaints of similar problems with the 2006 with no solutions. this is a very dangerous condition and very harmful to the environment. we are discouraged from topping off our tanks so i am sure this is a concern. the paint on my car is starting to discolor from this happening numerous time. please let me know what, if any recourse i have. *tr | |||

| I own a 2006 dodge durango adventure and every time i fill it up with fuel a half to a whole gallon of fuel comes out of the fuel nozzle. i have been to at least 15 different gas stations. i called dodge and the said there was a recall for this and is only for 2005 dodge durangos'. i and having the same problem and is eating away finish of paint. this should be looked in to due to fire hazard. *tr | |||

| Fuel tank overflows during fill up.i just receive a recall on this issue on 2/01/2013.i bought this car new on march of 2006.i don't know when this problem starts but notice the problem and blame the gas station for their pump not working properly.this problem has caused me a lot of problem because of gasoline shooting out of a tank to spill all over me (loss of clothes,shoes and rash on my arm, hand,foot and legs).now my car where the fuel tanks is located caused the paint to rust ($600 to fix) and my bumper to discolored and because i rotate my tires most of my log nuts($200) has to be replaced.i cannot quantify how much gasoline i loss during that period.i have called them regarding compensation for this matter and was told that they will fix the problem which they did but not compensate me. | |||

| When filling the gas tank the fuel splashes and pours out all over me and the vehicle. the paint on the vehicle that is exposed to the fuel has begun to bubble and rust. *tr if the inconvenience and hazard of the spill isn't enough the loss of fuel at today's high prices is an injustice that needs to be addressed. please help us! we paid a lot for our vehicle and now it looks like crap! dodge should care more about it customers! *tr | |||

| 2006 dodge durango. rust on the outside of the rear driver's side wheel well. also rust on both ends of the chrome piece above the license plate. i know of two other durango's of friends that have the same issue. | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2006 dodge durango. while driving various speeds, the contact hears a rattling noise coming from the doors as if the locks are not latching properly. she took the vehicle to the dealer and they stated that it was a normal characteristic of the vehicle. the failure mileage was 38,000 and current mileage was 54,000. updated 09/15/08 *bf the consumer stated the door rattles. updated 09/18/08. *jb | |||
