 Tl* the contact owns a 2007 dodge grand caravan. the contact stated that while traveling 50 mph, the accelerator pedal seized causing the vehicle to accelerate erroneously. the contact was able to maneuver the vehicle to the side of the road where it started to shake and stalled. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who was unable to duplicate the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. the failure and current mileage was 68,500.

 Tl-the contact owns a 2007 dodge grand caravan. the contact stated that while replacing a light bulb in the overheard console he noticed the unit which holds the bulb was deteriorating. the contact stated that the unit unit looked like the bulb has been overheating causing damage to the unit. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was informed this was a known problem and the unit has been redesigned but the replacement was not free of charge. the vehicle was not serviced. the contact also stated that the accelerator pedal will intermittently stick and not allow the vehicle to accelerate. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was informed this was also a known issue. the vehicle was not serviced and the failure recurs intermittently. the failure mileage was 80,000 and the current mileage was 82,000. sm.

 Tl*the contact owns a 2007 dodge grand caravan. while driving approximately 35 mph, the contact stated that the accelerator pedal became stuck intermittently causing unintended acceleration. she had to apply extreme pressure to the brake pedal to prevent a crash from occurring. she took the vehicle to the dealer who advised her that the pedal was covered with rust and needed to be replaced. she had not spoken with the manufacturer to-date. the vehicle had not been repaired at the time of the complaint. the current mileage was 75,428. the failure mileage was approximately 72,000.
