| I purchased a car on 4-30-03 and was hit from behind by a hit & skip driver on 5-1-03. police considers car a total loss. car dealerships papers says that i have 10 days to show proof of insurance to them. the car dealership also says that they do/did not cover car for 10 day, and i still am financially responsible for the car. i was not given citation concerning the accident. the hit & skip driver pushed my car into another car. is the dealership legally responsible to cover the car during this 10 day period? i am willing to work with the dealership but i do not feel that i should be totally financially responsible due to only owning the car for 24 hours. *nlm | |||

| Front end of vehicle would shake when applying brakes, rattling noise under hood, all four door hinges would sqeak and drop when opening the doors this was returned several times to dealer,and still back doors do not work properly. engine mounts went out, rubber moulding around inside of drivers door fell off 3 times finally they glued it on again. engine check light kept coming on they replaced the sensor even though they didn't know what was wrong, the brakes and rotors gave out chrysler was contacted and they refused to replace rotors because it was not covered under warranty. transmission still slips when applying gas to pedal.vehicle sits and then surges.vehicle is in shop again for loud thumping noise in front end of vehicle possibly engine cradle . contacted chrysler about lemmon law at beginning of ownership of veh and they said it did not apply. | |||

| Vehicle has been experiencing following problems: abs sensor light would come on and go out intermittently/cruise control would not work or engage properly/ check engine light would come on intermittently/brakes would lock up intermittently when applied/ faulty rotors causing excessive wear of brake pads, and vehicle would jerk into gear when applying accelerator pedal. dealer notiied. feel free to provide any other details. *ak | |||

| Have intermittent failure of all instrument panel gauges upon cold startup of vehicle. air bag light comes on indicating a problem when this occurs, but also occurs independently sometimes. this has been a chronic problem since october 1998. also, when the gauges are inoperative, the transmission will not shift into overdrive. usually the gauges come back on within a 5-10 minute period. it's unknown by the manufacturer if the airbags would deploy or not in an accident (according to the dealer-service). i have a service contract which is replacing the cluster module under my contract, but chrysler corp. has informed the dealer that nothing is covered concerning the malfunctioning airbag light & module. this car has never been wrecked, and has had regular service per the manufacturer's suggestions. i feel this is a safety problem which should be the manufacturer's responsibility. | |||

| The transmission failed ,it was repaired with me paying some of the repairs (which sucked) when i picked it up, i drove it 3 blocks and it was still doung the same thing so they fixed it agian or at least should have been right. now 10,000 miles later it failed agian. they say 1 year or 12,000 mile which comes first & it's been 1 year 6 mo. but 10,000 it still shouldn't fail this was the first and will be my last crysler/dodge i'll ever own | |||

| Fuel rail is leaking fuel unto the engine manifold which could result in a fire. took vehicle to dealer, and whole system had to be replaced because of corrosion. a/c evaporator and timing belt also had to be replaced--a/c would bot hold a freon r134a charge, and the belt was torn by the water pump. *ak *ml | |||
