| The right outside rear view mirror does not reflect properly, when consumer was considering changing lane he checked the mirror and saw that he had plenty room (twenty car lengths) and then look over his shoulder and saw that the car was really at his right rear bumper. nlm | |||

| Windshield wipers will come on by themselves while the switch is off, it will also turn off while in the middle of driving and stop in the middle of the windshield becoming in-operable & no visibility! i was driving on the freeway at 65 mph during rush hour, in the pouring rain when they stopped on me! air conditioner) whenever we start up the car, a mildew smell comes out of the vents. this could be a health hazzard for people with lung problems. (fuel) while the car is parked in our garage we smell fuel & the smell of fuel in the car sometimes while driving. the fuel gauge seems to be defective, one moment it registers it has a 1/3 tank, next moment it says you only have a 1/16 of a tank! this car is cursed and is just an accident waiting to happen! *ak | |||

| Dt: 1997 dodge intrepid. the consumer states the sunroof flew off on the highway. this happened while going between 65-70 mph. the consumer was trying too close it when this happened. this was not the type of sunroof that came off at any time. the consumer noticed a lot of air noise from the inside of the vehicle. the consumer was not aware of any accidents or injuries. this happened on september 1, 2005. the vehicle has not been taken to the dealership. *ak | |||

| Sun roof- problem existed at time of sale, dealer aware that parts were defective and no replacements available. still not fixed as of 5/24/1999. car drifted to the left on flat roads and crowned highways-right lane. drift was severe. full lane change within 300 ft or less. dealer response- all components set to manufacturer's specs. nothing he can do. last trip in march 1999 dealer noticed wear on tires and rotated them. also ordered power steering pump and a steering idler arm. car does not drift anymore. front end has had a vibration from day 1. dealer can't seem to notice it of find out the cause. changed tires, rotated tires, checked on brake discs, etc. still no full solution. vibration is less the first noticed but still present at 5/24/99. some was corrected 12/08/1997, more remains. lights do not seem to be bright enough or the throw pattern is wrong. leaves blind, bark areas in front of car especially the high beams. dealer response: lights are set according to specs. they seem to throw lights more upward-short range and to the sides. oncoming traffic complaints. *ak | |||

| Took car in for routine oil change, when service tech attempted to remove the dipstick to check oil level, the yellow plastic top broke off, prohibiting removal. had to go to a local chrysler dealership to purchase new dipstick and have broken one removed. on the second entry, the trunk lid did not stay open, and hit person(s) placing items in or removing items from trunk. and on the third entry, there is a constant film on the windshield which severely limits clear vision and also causes extreme glare, especially during night driving. *ak | |||

| Windshield wipers quit mid cycle. looked under hood, fiddled w/relay at junction box, wipers resumed operation. on trip operated very irratic. stopped in mid cycle, failed to turn on, itnermittant cycles very irratic, no operation in 1st intermittant cycle. on 06/29/1999 dealer replace switch # 4760437 & relay # 4671168. recently problem reoccurred. called chrysler ti inquire about any recall or service bulletins. answer, none. aske dealer about any problems w/local customers. answer, none. i find it hard to believe i, only, have this problem.*ak | |||
