This complaint is regarding the daimlyr chrysler seatbelt defect on 1993-2002 cars and trucks. the seatbelt (latch 3 type) becomes undone when involved in a crash. there currently is a class action suit pending and chrysler will not at this point recall the seatbelts for safe belts (latch 4). | |||

The consumers vehicle was hit on the front right side yet the air bags did not deploy. the seat belt also failed to properly restrained the driver and as a result the driver was thrown into the passenger seat. the consumer sustained injuries to the face, right shoulder, side and eyes. the vehicle was a total loss. *nlm | |||

Upon receipt of recall notice consumer brought his car in for service, consumers recall work was never completed due to parts not being available, when the part did arrive consumer disocvered that the part was sitting on the counter and no one was working on his vehicle. *jg |
