FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE

This may seem like a small complaint, but to me it's major. i bought a dodge srt-4 a couple months back and one of my major deciding factors was the posted mpg on the sticker. it said the srt-4 got 22 in city and 30 highway. most of my driving is freeway driving and i check my mpg every time i refuel and it's always poor. on average i'm getting 19 mpg. the best i've gotten is 23. in general i drive the car like a little old lady and it's just upsetting. is there any way to hold the manufacturer responsible? if i would have known my srt-4 would be performing so poorly at the pump i would be driving a different car. *nm
FUEL SYSTEM, GASOLINE - DELIVERY

While driving at 70 mph, the consumer attempted to exit a freeway and the vehicle lurched and made a loud noise. the vehicle was pulled into a parking lot and smoke began to emit from the hood. consumer turned the key off, but the vehicle continued to run. the fire department arrived and disconnected the battery cables. at that time the smoking ceased and the engine shut down. *ak the consumers vehicle continued to run rough and lurch forward, the check engine light would come on, , the vehicle would run with the key out of the ignition, and when the door was inadvertently shut, the door would lock. the dealer could not find anything wrong with the vehicle. the consumer was told that the fuel was delivered at a rich combustion level. the service dealer replaced the ab/master relay and the power train control module. (fuel was being delivered to the cylinder at excessive amounts and with the key out of the ignition) *sc *jb
