| The dash in my 1999 dodge ram pickup truck has cracked, the cracking started a few months after i bought it. i have looked into replacing it but it is way expensive and have heard other owners of this type of truck have had complaints too. it was brought more to my attention when i saw it on the news last night. i feel if i paid over $18,000 dollars and more from my truck it should not have had a cracking dash months after i bought it. i contacted dodge but they were not willing to fix it because it was considered cosmetic, but if its cosmetic then why is it happening to everybody that owns a dodge ram?? i am scared for the safety of me and my family pieces can fly up if you hit the slightness bump and what if the air bags deploy? | |||

| I have a 1999 dodge ram magnuim 1500 the dash it cracked in to different places lights on top don't work the push button is broken, and the cup holder tray is broken | |||

| I own a 1999 dodge ram truck. the dashboard has completely caved in allowing pieces to fall down and potentially cause catastrophic failure of the trucks electrical system. replacement is cost prohibitive. | |||

| 1999 dodge ram 1500 with dissintigrating dash board leading to electrical malfunctions. when multiple dealers were asked about the problem the answers given were always because it is not a mechanical problem, then it is not a warrenty issue. was also told that since it was not a mechanical problem that it won't be a recall matter unless it might cause a safety issue. | |||

| Dt*: the contact stated while driving 55 mph on normal road conditions without any warning signals, the a/c was not working properly. the vehicle was taken to the dealership who determined the system should be recharged; tracer dye was added to detect any leaks. the vehicle was taken to the dealer again, after a new failure and the tracer dye indicated the leaking was from the evaporator coil, which was located inside the cabin. the manufacturer was contacted, and informed there was no recall for the a/c system. the contact expressed concern because of the toxicity of the freon gas affecting all occupants inside the cabin.*ak | |||
