 Tl-the contact owns a 1999 dodge ram 1500. the contact stated that when trying to put his seat belt on it wouldn't retract out. the vehicle was then inspected by a dealer and they advised him that the sensor box under the drivers side seat had failed. the vehicle has not been repaired. the failure mileage was approximately 120,000. tb

 Tl-the contact owns a 1999 dodge ram 1500. the contact stated both the passenger and driver seat belt will not retract. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated they will replace the sensor box under the seat to make the seat belt work but it will cost $300 due to no recalls or warranty. the manufacturer was contacted and offered no assistance. the vehicle was not repaired. the failure mileage was 120,000....mw

 Tl* the contact owns a 1999 dodge ram 1500. the contact stated that both front seat belt retractors no longer functioned. the vehicle was taken to an authorized dealer where the contact was advised that she would have to replace the retractors at her expense. in addition, the vehicle was not included in nhtsa campaign id number: 01v119000 (seat belts:front:retractor). the contact called the manufacturer who verified that the vehicle was not under recall. the vehicle was not repaired. the current and failure mileages were approximately 110,000.

 On our 1999 dodge ram 1500. seat belt locking up when driving on both driver and passenger sides. also as read on the complaints reports, dash board is falling apart. these are safety issues that will affect peoples lives. what has been done to correct it? *tr

 When applying brakes the pedal goes to floor, causing extended stopping distance, cause unknown. also, wet or dry pavement right front brakes lock up, causing vehicle to severly pull to right. dealer cannot identify problem. please give any further details.*ak the brake pads have been replaced 5 times, front rotors replaced, rear brake drums replaced,driveshaft carrier bearing failed causing thumping noise (replaced twice), universal joints failed, differential failed causing noise when shifting from drive to reverse, seat belt does not retract intermittently. nlm

 When it is 75 degrees or warmer front seat belt could not be pulled out to properly restrain the driver and front passenger. consumer contacted the dealer, who informed the consumer that this was caused by a malfunction in the mercury switches. *ak *nm

 While appempting to stop the brakes did not stop the vehicle (vehicle has anti-lock brakes on rear wheels only), the seat belt did not hold the passenger causing him to move forward and hit both knees on the dash, the seat belt grabbed yanking passenger back into door and the passenger hit head on the window, air bags also failed to deploy. nlm

 Tl* the contact owns a 1999 dodge ram 1500. the seat belt retractors will not release the seat belts on the driver and passenger sides. the mechanic advised the contact that the seat belt retractors were locked. however, the dealer refused to inspect the vehicle. the current and failure mileage were 145000. *ak
