The rear doors of my 2002 dodge ram quad cab truck will not unlock. the problem has been reported to my dealer on several occasions, but has not been fixed, since it is not covered by a current recall. the truck is out of warranty, and i cannot afford to have the problem fixed (i'm still making $400+ monthly payments on the truck). at this time, i have not suffered any consequences. possible consequences are that a rear seat passenger (especially a child) can become trapped in the rear seat of the vehicle. a kit/part is available (dodge part number 5086593aa) to fix this problem, so it is a known problem.*ak

As weather gets colder the power locks in the rear of my 2002 dodge quad cab will not operate. i have to reach in and pull up on the lock manually. works fine all summer, but as soon as temperature hit about 40 degrees they will not unlock with power switch. i have checked my child safety feature and it is not the problem. *la
