Complaint about safety neglect. anyone sitting in the back seat of qc ram that is not equipped with the rear head rest are at serious risk of head and or spinal injury in the event of an accident. this is a very serious issue considering the whole rear axle problem and wheels shearing off while driving recurring quite often. *tr

I was forced to break quickly. during this my son hit his head on the rear seat window of my 2003 quad cab dodge ram truck. this occurred at 30 mph. my concern is the great potential for spinal and head injury at higher speads. the 2004 trucks have rear head restraints to stop the direct impact of the head and neck to the rear glass window. i called doge and they were not concerned.*ak
SEATS - MID/REAR ASSEMBLY

I own a 2003 dodge ram 4x2 quad cab. i have noticed the 2004 model dodge ram quad cabs have back seat head rest installed in them. i am police officer of many years, i am assigned to the traffic enforcement team. i have invesigated low speed collisions in the same model truck as mine. in most cases the rear seat occupants have received head and spinal injuries due to there not being any head rest in those seating positions. the impact area for injury was normally the back glass. i have a ten year old son, who is 4 foot 11 inches tall, that sits in the back seat when we travel. his head is well above the back seat. i feel dodge should be responsible to have the rear head rest installed in the 2000 models to current. any assistance would be greatly appreciated. *ak
