 Tl- the contact owns a 2005 dodge ram 1500. the contact stated that while driving 70 mph, the contact heard a loud noise coming from the rear of the vehicle. the contact took the vehicle to a dealer for inspection where they stated that the axle pin back and the axle needed to be replaced. the vehicle was not repaired. the manufacturer was notified of the failure. the failure mileage was 157,000. kmj

 Tl- the contact owns a 2005 dodge ram 1500. the contact stated that while traveling 60 mph the pinion nut came loose from the pinion shaft. as a result, the rear wheels locked up. the vehicle was taken to the dealer who stated that he never seen that type of failure before. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure who did not offer any assistance since the vehicle was no longer under warranty. the failure and current mileage was 105,000.pmb

 Tl- the contact owns a 2005 dodge caravan. the contact stated the while traveling 25 mph around a curve when the front left wheel broke away from the vehicle. the failure caused the contact hit a side wall in the parking lot. the tow truck driver thought the ball joint failed. the dealer had to replace the tie rod in the wheel well to repair the vehicle. the contact stated other parts failed because of rust, but did not know what parts they were. the contact would like to send the part to nhtsa to be examined. the failure mileage was 36,000 and the current mileage was 41,000.rl

 Tl- the contact owns a 2005 dodge ram 1500. the contact stated that while driving 30mph the front driver side hub wheel bearing failed and the wheel came off. the vehicle skidded 120 feet before it stopped. the vehicle was towed to a dealership and an investigation was done. they stated there was no manufacturing defect found and the failure was caused by normal wear and tear. the vehicle has not been repaired. the failure and current mileages were 93,000. rd

 2005 dodge ram developed severe front end wobble at all speeds known as death wobble. truck was purchased as certified pre-owned and bought extended warranty but they will not fix it. they told me shocks were bad and i replaced them at my own cost and it still continues to get worse every mile more. *tr

 Turning a corner when the right front tire collapsed resulting in the truck making impact with a curb at approx. 20 mph. there were no physical signs of any failure leading up to this point. reported incident to the insurance company and they reported is was an upper ball joint failure. truck is currently being repaired and old parts are available. *tr
