| Tl*the contact owns a 2006 dodge ram 1500. while idling at a stop sign, the abs light illuminated on the instrument panel. while driving approximately 70 mph, the abs light illuminated again. the speedometer then failed and the speed was not visible. most recently, the emergency parking brake light and abs light illuminated again and the speedometer completely failed. the contact went to autozone; however, there were no error codes for the failure. the dealer and manufacturer have not been notified, but the contact wanted to get in touch with the manufacturer's headquarters. the current mileage was 41,952 and failure mileage was approximately 41,500. | |||

| In cold dry weather the ignition system shorts causing the horn lights and chimes to activate. the dealer has witnessed this three times, but said that chrysler has no history of this happening and has no fix for the problem. the truck has been back to the dealer numerous times, several inhouse fixes were tried, but the problem still exists. a representative from chrysler customer assistance told me that the problem is an act of nature and chrysler in not responsible, but he refused to give me the statement in writing. the problem started about 3 weeks after i got the truck in january 2006. *tr | |||
