| Tl*the contact owns a 2007 dodge ram 1500. while driving 35 mph, a vehicle made a left turn in front of the contact's vehicle. the contact was unable to stop because the abs failed to engage. the contact crashed into the passenger side of the other vehicle. the air bags failed to deploy. the driver of the other vehicle sustained injuries and the contact sustained an injury to the head. the vehicle is currently at the dealer. the dealer discovered that the antilock braking system does not work at low speeds. the auburn police department filed report # 07-07742. the current mileage is 3,014 and failure mileage was 2,955. | |||

| Back in september 2009 at 30,000 miles i had rear brakes replaced on my 2007 dodge ram 1500 pickup at firestone in massapequa ,ny. in april 2010 i started hear sqeaking noise from brakes so i brought truck back to firestone to check brakes. then a couple of weeks after that i started hearing a different noise. it was metalic in nature so i brought it back to firestone but they could not locate sound. i left thinking it was trailer hitch but still heard noise. on may 13 2010 on my way home from work at jfk airport on the belt parkway, with no traffic around me i went to press on brake, after i heard a louder banging noise from the back of truck only to find i had no brakes. luckily i was able to exit, by pumping brakes, safely to a gas station. turns out the rear passenger brake calipher fell off rotor. firestone paid for a tow to their shop and labor, so they say, but charged me $168 for a rebuilt calipher. i found a rebuilt calipher for $52 at one stop auto and brand new from dodge for $72. firestone claims there are 5 other cases from other firestone shops and they were reporting it to dodge. they claim its a factory defect that dodge should fix saying the bolts loosened on their own after being removed back in sept. 2009. i am not sure who is at fault. can you help. | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2007 dodge ram 1500. while driving at various speeds, the contact experiences difficulty opening the rear window. the handle is located behind the driver's side head rest. in addition, the accelerator pedal is too close to the brake pedal, which occasionally causes the contact to accelerate when he is actually trying to brake. on one occasion, he crashed into his home due to the pedals being so close together. no one was injured during the crash and the vehicle has not been diagnosed by the dealer. the current mileage was 2,990 and failure mileage was 500. updated 07/29/08 *bf updated 07/29/08 | |||
