 Tl- the contact owns a 2008 dodge ram. when the contact exited the toll booth at approximately 25 mph the vehicle suddenly accelerated the road was little wet. the vehicle spun around and stopped accelerating when the right rear side collided into a concrete wall. he did not receive injuries. the contacted email the manufacturer, but did not receive a response yet. the vehicle was towed to the garage to be repaired. the failure and the current mileage was 42,000. li

 Consumer stated 2008 dodge ram accelerated after removing foot from pedal. the consumer stated as she accelerated to pass a truck, the vehicle continued to accelerate. the rpm's reached 5000. she tried to place the vehicle in neutral, press the brake, but the vehicle continued to accelerate. eventually, the vehicle started to slow down enough with her foot still on the brake. the vehicle was taken to the dealer, however they were unable to find a problem. the dealer stated they had never heard of an electronic control light, even though the light was on when the consumer arrived at the dealer. the shifting was erratic when first shifting out of park into reverse. *jb

 Tl* the contact owns a 2008 dodge ram 1500. the hook that secures the drivers floor mat to the floor fractured. as a consequence, the floor mat moved under the accelerator pedal. the vehicle was taken to the dealer, and a technician stated that he would have to pay $900.00 to replace the floor mat clip. no repairs were made. he was in the process of notifying the manufacturer. the vehicle identification number was unavailable. the failure mileage was 23,000 and the current mileage is 24,000. updated 11/06/09 *bf updated 11/09/09
