| My 2009 ram doesn`t have any defroster.the recall for the ac module was done on 5/12/2012 at bald hill dodge warwick ri.at the time of doing then recall the dealer installed a defroster actuator in the truck wich was not part of the recall.over the past couple of weeks i have notced a banging noise coming from the dash.i took the truck to the dealer for the problem of noise and a malfuctioniing defroster.i was told they would have to remove the dash and look for the problem and it my take 8 hours to do so and i might have to pay for the service.i pointed out that according to the slip from 5/12/2012 it only too 2 and a half hours to do the recall and change the oil. i have found out thru then internet that this is a common problem with this model .i don`t see why i have to pay close to a &1000 for a problem that was supposed to be fixed . if you have any questions please call me at 401 439 5090 thank you joe mccauley | |||

| Upon start-up of the vehicle a ticking noise is heard. this sound is less noticeable as the engine warms to normal operating temperature. similar cases have been seen in 2009 models caused by broken or loose exhaust manifold bolts for cylinders 7 and 8. contacted the dealer but they stated my vehicle was not affected by that recall even though it is the same year and engine type. | |||

| I was driving the 2009 dodge ram that i purchased in july 2010. while driving on the highway on i-20w in georgia, the drive shaft fell off. the whole drive shaft fell off. luckily no one got hurt. the cars behind me had to stop. the ram quickly lost speed, and i had to pull to the side of the highway. the tow truck driver told me that i was lucky the truck did not flip over. a bunch of fluids came out of where the drive shaft was supposed to be. when the tow truck driver tried to attach the ram to his truck it was noticed that the rear tires locked up. he said the differential locked up. i have checked some dodge online forums, and this seems to be a common enough problem that it needs to be addressed. *tr | |||

| My 2009 dodge ram windsheld became real foggy while i was driving at a speed of 56mph and when i attempted to turn on the defrost/defogger nothing happen. so i applied the brakes and move to the shoulder of the road safely that time thanks the almighty. this could be deadly and i am glad i was driving andnotone of the children nor my wife. please recall all 2009 dodge ram pickups and replace the manual climate valve motor and sensors if needed, i beg dodge to make our vehicles safer. thank you!!! | |||

| While driving my 2009 ram at approximately 35mph, the low tire pressure light lit up, indicating a problem. before i had time to pull to the side of the road (keep in mind i was only moving at 35mph), the left rear tire went completely flat. upon inspection of the flat tire, i discovered that the valve stem was missing. after taking the tire to my local mechanic, we learned that the aluminum nut on the valve stem apparently failed and caused the valve stem to fall into the inside of the tire, thus allowing the tire to go flat, virtually instantly. while purchasing a replacement tps (tire pressure sensing) valve at napa, i was told by the employees there, that they have seen multiple problems with this design, caused by the corrosion of the nut due to the salt used on highways here in central new york, during the winter months. about two weeks after this event, i had the truck into the dealership for an oil change. i asked them to replace the remaining 3 valve stems under factory warranty because i believe it's a matter of time before they fail also. the service manager told me they found only one additional valve that appeared to have a cracked nut. they replaced only that valve. (by the way.. the new valve design is all rubber. no more alum nut). i rotated the tires to place the potential time bomb valves on the rear, in order to prevent a loss of steering when these valves fail, and they will. it's just a matter of time. i only hope the tires don't go flat while i'm travelling at 65 mph. after doing an internet search, i learned that there are multiple reports of this problem. there should be a recall on the metal valves. i'm going to contact chrysler (dodge) to file a complaint. | |||

| Flat tire tried to use jack but it failed metal extension handle twisted and tore in half so i removed one extension and same occurance metal riping fell to the ground ending up with heat stroke and in the hospital for three day 's these jack's are faulty and dangerous to the senior population | |||

| We own a 2009 1500 dodge truck and were stranded in the high desert for well over ten hours up off of highway 377 in northren arizona we we had a flat we proceeded to take the jack that was brand new we were jacking the truck up when the frist extension end tore like it was soft metal so we discarded the first extension and proceeded to use the second which also tore so i used the last extenison and then the hook that was connected to the jack became twisted and could no longer be used this stranded us in a place that where we could not be located we called roadside emergency service and was told by dispatcher that he had pin pointed us and that they would send out a tow truck but they still couldn't find us with the cooridanates that we gave him . so we turned to triple a who we belong to we also called 911 . we were told by triple a tow truck driver that we should drive on flat tire to highway 377 if we wanted help so we proceeded to do so and was this tow driver wrong it caused major damage to the truck and it totally stopped running and is now at power dodge in phoenix az . we wre finally found by the holbrook sheriff department sargent price and the navajo dispacther found us by the coordinates that we provided from our gps which was some time the next morning we are both disabled and did not have our meds until two days later when we got home all because of this defected jack that was provided with truck . excuse this if it is confusing because iv'e had my meds but am stiil confused slightly. | |||
