 Tl* the contact owns a 2010 dodge ram 1500. the contact stated that while driving approximately 50 mph, the brakes and the steering wheel failed without warning. the contact crashed into another vehicle. there were no injuries reported. the vehicle was taken to the dealer on several occasions where the failure was unable to be duplicated. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and sent an investigator to further inspect the vehicle, but the investigator was unable to duplicate the failure. the vehicle was not repaired. the approximate failure mileage was 7,000 and the current mileage was 47,000. the vin was not available.

 I pulled onto a major highway after stopping at a yield sign. the truck reached about 35 mph and suddenly it felt like something was holding the back of the truck and wouldn't let it go any faster. i pushed down on the accelerator but the truck wouldn't go any faster. i took my foot off the accelerator and stepped on the brake and almost came to a complete stop. when i stepped on the accelerator again the truck seemed to be normal. *tr
