| Tl- the contact owns a 2012 dodge ram 1500. the contact stated that when the vehicle engaged in economy or multiple displacement mode, the vehicle would violently vibrate followed by a loud noise. the vehicle was taken to the dealer for diagnosis and the contact was informed that the software needed to be updated however, an update was not available. the dealer later notified the contact that the vibration was a normal function of the vehicle's design. the manufacturer was notified but offered no assistance. the failure mileage was 1 and the current mileage was 3,000. kmj | |||

| Tl- the contact owns a 2012 dodge ram 1500. the contact stated while driving the vehicle went into the economy mode or multiple displacement mode and began to violently vibrate and there was a loud droning noise. the vehicle was taken to a dealer for diagnosis and was informed the software need to be updated but there was no update for it. later the dealer notified the contact that the vibration was happening by design. that answer was not satisfactory for the contact. the manufacturer was notified but offered no assistance. the failure mileage was 1 and the current mileage was 3,000. dt | |||
