Defect SummaryThe cinch bar component within the passenger side safety belt buckle assembly shatters causing the belt to release.
Consequence SummaryThe passenger would not be properly restrained and could be injured in the event of a sudden stop or accident.
Corrective SummaryDealers will replace the cinch bar with a newly designed part.
