 Fuel quantity indicated lower than actual fuel in tank of '95 dodge ram 2500 p/u. removed carter fuel module; found float deteriorated with absorbed fuel which made float heavy and caused faulty indication. installed walbro fuel module, checks ok. how do i inform dodge to process bulletin or recall the faulty carter fuel modules? this is a safety concern, operators need to know accurate fuel load to make a safe trip. *jb

 The engine started with the transmission in gear and no one in the vehicle, starter would not disengage and the heating element on the intake exploded and caught fire. this is unbelievable with all the safety equipment today. *ak

 Return fuel hose failure. this problem could results in injection pump losing prime which will cuase failure to start or stalling. also this problem is a fire hazard. the cracked rubber hose causes a fuel leak which could be very hazardous. this problem is very common on the 1994-1998 dodge diesel trucks.

 Rubber fuel hose is spraying fuel onto engine, causing fire hazard. leak is coming from where rubber fuel line meets metal fuel line.*ak consumer states he first noticed problem due to vehicle would not start after immediately after being parked overnight, this problem became worse over the next few weeks, consumer feels the location of the fuel linie is hazardous. *slc

 Could not shut engine off with key. subject solenoid had disassembled. in the event of an accident or fire driver has no way of stopping engine. dealer offered replacement solenoid for $370.00

 Fuel sensor fluttered between half to empty,then went empty, and it happened a second time,again same hing, we have not replaced it yet,because you have to drop the tank.the equipment is faulty as least,don't know how it survived in diesel, no reading on fuel in tank,dangeous if you don't keep milege/fillup, could cause serious accident on interstate if you ran out and didn''t know what was happening at first. *ak

 The fuel guage has been replaced in my truck twice and still doesn't work(it reads empty all of the time) the fuel warning light is always on also. my father has a 1997 dodge pickup with the same problem, also a good friend of ours has a 1995 dodge pickup with the exact same problem. to say the least we're all fed up with it. *ak

 The fuel tank leaked due to a faulty crack pipe. *jb

 Float within the fuel sending unit is defective, causing gauge not to register which could result in running out of gas. consumer has replaced sending unit 3 times ,each part will only last about 13-14 months.*ak
