| I have a 1998 dodge ram 2500 diesel which i bought in 1999 and in may 2001 the dash cracked. i bought a new one but the dealer wants $400.00 to install it. i understand there is problem with the dashes in these trucks. and a recall is pending. *jb | |||

| The dash board on my truck is cracking and i am very concerned with the air bag being rendered useless as a result of this and also the dangers to myself and possible passengers due to the broken pieces of dash being thrown around in the event of an accident. *jb | |||

| 1998 dodge ram 2500 24 valve cummins diesel dash board cracking severely, anti lock brakes not functioning properly, overdrive locking and unlocking around 45 mph. after trying several remedies. *jb | |||

| I have had the steering damper replaced several times. it is unknown to me why this happens and the dealer has no answer either. all the components on this vehicle are heavy-duty. braking is becoming more of a problem as the brakes wear down. the truck only has 21,000 miles on it. the power door locks i have no idea about they just stopped working one day, but, they do work w/ the remote entry. i also noticed the horn actuator is hard to activate due to the hard leather for the airbag cover. the driver's door keeps getting missaligned, i have never heard of a vehicle having this much of a problem like it. | |||
