I was repairing a part under the dash, the dash shattered. we found several other statements online that stated this was a defective part. i feel this is a problem because i could shatter and injure the driver or passengers.

I have a 2003 dodge ram 2500 . we have been noticing our dashboard cracking more and more. it should not been detoriating before we get it paid off. i feel as though it is a defect in the model. and i think dodge company should recall this issue and fix this at no cost to me.

I own a 2003 dodge ram 2500. recently the dash cracked for no apparent reason. i am concerned that the integrity of the dash is now comprimised. in the event of a collision i fear that the dash will now turn into little projectiles causing more damamge to my occupants.

I have a 2003 dodge ram 2500 that the black dash board has cracked in approximately 4 places. these cracks run from the window to the front edge of the dash board. i previously owned a 1999 dodge ram 2500 with a tan dash board and never had an issue with the dash board cracking. seems to me there is a defect in the manufacturing of this specific dash board. why should we as the consumer have to pay to have faulty equipment replaced. these pieces could break free and be logged into the drivers eye and cause serious injury or even death if an accident should occur.

I was driving down the road and turned on the heater in my truck and the windsheild imediately fogged up to the point i could not see. i had to roll down the window to see out and to pull over to the side of the road to avoid a head on collision. once i was stopped i noticed the problem was no matter what position i set the defrost or heat on, the air only blew out the vents on the dash panel. i went to the dodge dealer and they told me the whole dash had to come out of my truck, drain the cooling system and air conditioning system to replace some broken plastic parts, costing around 1,500.00 to 2,000.00. after researching this problem on line, i have found numerous people, all with the same problem. i feel this is a safety hazard because within 5 seconds my vision was completely obstructed and could have not only resulted in my death but that of someone else. this truck almost killed me once when it jumped into reverse and almost ran over me. yes they ended up creating a recall for this problem, but that did not pay to repair my truck or my neighbors house that my truck ran into. i think it is unfair for us as consumers to comtinue to pay for dodge's flawed engineering. they have a tsb on this problem so they are completely aware of it.

Dashboard cracking into pieces. from the amount of complaints about this same problem on dodge vehicles i believe it is from faulty materials used in manufacturing.

The dashboard on my 2003 dodge ram2500 is cracked all over the place. i count 12 cracks in both upper dash boards. if i ever do have an accident any one in the vehicle could be injured badly just with flyinmg dashboard. i called dodge and they are willing to replace it for $800 with the same eveidently inferior plastic that is already proven to be defective. the truck has never been in an accident and nothing else has happened that should have caused any of these cracks

Problems with defective brakes on a 2003 dodge ram. *mr the brakes would self engage while the vehicle was in motion, nearly causing accidents, the a/c was always inoperative blowing out hot air, the a/c compressor made a clunking noise when engaged, the vehicle had been back to the dealer for major engine repairs, a broken piston rod was found and could have been the cause for the engine knocking, there was a vibration upon acceleration. *sc *jb

I wish to voice my displeasure with chysler's recall #e-17 on my 2003 2500 dodge pickup. if there is a problem with the truck then if needs to be corrected. i've not heard of anyother vehicle using alarms to warn that it s not in park.*ak
