 Tl- the contact owns a 2003 dodge ram 2500. the contact was driving 3 mph when the driver side tire rod detached from the vehicle. the vehicle was towed to the dealer and the manufacturer was contacted. the failure was diagnosed as a fractured tire rod end. the manufacturer advised that the vin was not included in the recall under nhtsa campaign id number:11v350000 (steering:linkages:tie rod assembly). the vehicle was not repaired. the failure and current mileages were 84,000. kmj

 Tl- the contact owns a 2003 dodge ram 2500 with cooper tempra trail cutters lt265/70/r17 (dot utahrda0409) tires. while driving approximately 50 mph the steering wheel began to vibrate and the contact heard a noise coming near the rear drivers side tire. the contact stopped the vehicle and noticed the tread separated from the rear drivers side tire. the tire was replaced with the spare. the manufacturer was made aware of the failure and asked the contact to mail the tire so they could inspect it. the tire was not replaced. the vin was not available. the approximate failure mileage was 160,000. rvk

 Tl. the contact owns cooper dick cepek radial f-c ii 33/125or117d tires on a 2003 dodge ram 2500. the contact stated while driving 55 mph the center tread on the tire came complete off causing damage to the bumper, fender flair, and gasket lead. the contact went to a local dealer and the dealer referred the contact to call the nhtsa and file a complaint. the contact notice a recall for the tires:tread/belt but the tire does not fall into the recall due to the manufacture date. the contact stated everything stated in the consequence happened to the contact while driving. the contact has not called the manufacturer at this time. the failure mileage was 108,164. jo

 Tl*the contact owns a 2003 dodge ram 2500. while driving 55mph the contact heard a noise that sounded like an explosion. the two rear passenger carlisle tires blew out and separated from the rim. the tire size was 225/75/15. the current mileage was unknown and the failure mileage was 127253. there was also damage on the side of the trailer. aaa replaced the tire. the retailer where the tires were purchased stated that they could process a claim. dot number not was unavailable.

 Tl*the contact owns a 2003 dodge ram 2500. the vehicle's front end vibrated uncontrollably when driving on uneven pavement. the contact must come to a complete stop when the vibration occurs. the dealer stated the steering booster damper, outer links, and tire kit could all be possible causes for the failure. chrysler stated that there were no flags related to the vehicle's failures. the current mileage was 77,000, and failure mileage were 35,000.*ak

 Dt: the consumer experienced a blow out on the front left side of the vehicle. there was damage to the camper. the consumer found out the tire was 3 years old and they recommend replacing rv tires every three years.*jb

 2003 dodge 2500 developed problems with the tire sidewalls.***no answer required***. *mr the sidewall of the michelin ltx a/s tires developed cracks. on some of the tires there are some areas were at least the first few layers of rubber was missing. *nm

 Dt: consumer purchased a 2003 rinker boat trailer in july 2003. in august 2003 the left front tire blew out without warning on the interstate. the following july 2004 another tire blew out. the consumer did not remember location of the tire on the trailer at that time. the next tire blew out in april 2005 and again the consumer did not remember which tire it was. on july 17, 2005 the right front tire blew out. this was the forth blowout. each time a blowout occurred there was damage to the trailer. the last tire blew out on september 4, 2005. the last blowout was on the left back tire. the consumer replaced these tires at his own expense each time. there has never been an accident as a result of these bloods. *ak
