| Ac does not blow cold on passenger side and freezes up losing power; took it to dealer under warranty on two occasions and they said they could not duplicate complaint. i also have taken it to the dealer while under warranty and complained that the drivers door never seals properly and the wind noise is ridiculous! they said they heard nothing and could not duplicate my complaint. i have replaced the rubber door strip which did nothing. the dash board cracked while under warranty and the dealer said that i would have to pay $600 even under warranty. online you can find that dodge clearly had a resin problem for several years causing their plastics to crack prematurely. i have looked online for all of these issues and there are numerous complaints out there for the same problems. no i have no warranty and still all the same issues. | |||

| I own a 2004 dodge 2500 ram when i turn on the turn signal to go left the right on turns on , it almost caused us to be envolve in a auto wreck , the on coming vehical beleived we was turn the other way, this happens all the time , now my 2006 dodge caravan is doing the same thing , i used to be a mechanic so i did some trouble shooting and found fault with the turn assembaly , if i move it around just so it will correct its self some times- this needs to be fixed fast someone can get hurt or even worse. | |||

| My 204 dodge ram turn signal intermitenly will not work when you turn on right blinker or it will turn on the left blinker. went to dealer to ask about it they said it has happened on other trucks but no recall yet. they said it would cost about $800.00 to fix so i might want to wait till it fails completly. i just dont want to get in accident caused by wrong blinker going off. | |||

| I did not have a accident, but my transmission began to fail in such a manner that the transmission did not know what gear it was supposed to be in. one day it would be fine and the next it might begin ok and then ten minutes later it would start off from a stop light in 2nd or 3rd gear and it was difficult to pull into traffic. dodge is aware of the problem because the dealerships are stocking the internal transmission parts to fix it. my mechanic talked to a nearby dodge dealer to obtain the parts and they said they knew of the problem and had a good supply of parts if needed. we also spoke to two different transmission shops that said this was a common problem. the necessary parts that needed to be replaced to fix this were a govenor compression solonoid and pressure switch. both of which are located in the gear box just above the pan. the parts were only available from dodge and cost about $220.00 just for the parts. i would like to know if dodge has reported this problem. i have been in contact with them inquiring why they have not done a recall since they are aware of the problem and all they have told me so far is that it is a lengthy process that involves your department. | |||

| Headlights malfunctioned attributed to the front control module according to chrysler star representative.this is a known problem that the dealer was not prepared or able to diagnose. according to chrysler star support desk the front control module p/n 56051036ad has a known problem. i was only able to find this out after calling chrysler customer service and insisting that the dealer call their star support desk and open an incident. the rep at the support desk immediately told the service tech that the front control module had a known problem. the intermittent failure created a safety hazard on the highway by not functioning at all or malfunctioning. lights on truck can fail at any time headlights,taillights,brake lights because of this front control module there is no backup on the system when it fails. here is the link to a service bulletin put out by dodge http://www.xkjeeps.com/tsb/tsb_xk_0806005.pdf. this should be a recall item !! *tr | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2004 dodge ram 2500. the contact previously took his vehicle to the dealer for rough idling. the dealer replaced three injectors and there had been no further occurrences. on april 15, 2008, while driving 55 mph, the contact depressed the accelerator pedal and the speed increased to 80 mph. he depressed the pedal again and the speed instantly shot up to 100 mph. he placed the vehicle into neutral and coasted to the side of the road. the vehicle was towed back to the dealer and they found error code p2122 for the ecm assembly, as well as bell housing failure. the manufacturer stated that they would not offer any assistance and the contact would be responsible for the repairs. the current mileage was 155,559 and failure mileage was 70,000. | |||

| Upon having the truck at dealer b for warranty servicing,the dealership installed without my knowledge or consent the e17 out-of-park alarm, similar to recall nhtsa campaign 05v462000. the recall was for a computer flash to look for several things to occur simultaneously; 1) driver's side door opened, transmission was in reverse, and foot was off of brake. when these conditions occurred the horn started blowing and the lights start flashing. this was not an acceptable recall, and i didn't want it on my truck. on numerous occasions i needed to back up by having the driver's side door open to use the ground as a reference. this typically occurred when mirror or window views were blocked, or there was an object behind that could not be seen. when trying to back up to these objects the horn started blowing and lights started flashing. this resulted in bothering neighbors, coworkers, etc. it was an annoyance and it did not result in a safer vehicle. chrysler needed to develop an alternate method for addressing the problem, if there was truly a problem needed to be addressed. chrysler informed me that they were not willing to reverse the recall that it was in place. also, they claimed that they were mandated to do the recall if i brought the truck in for service, and therefore claimed they had no duty to inform me beforehand. this was tantamount to tampering with my vehicle without my knowledge or consent. does chrysler have the authority to perform this recall without my knowledge or consent? if so, from where do they derive this authority?*ak updated 04/18/07. *jb | |||

| Defective weathers tripping around front doors of my 2004.5 dodge ram truck. dodge did not inform me of defective design and will not repair it at their expense (carbon monoxide inhalation danger). electrical component and wiring harness defects, dealer has not notified me of defects, will not fix them under warranty,(fire hazard). deceptive practices by dodge dealer (kari dodge , kalispell montana). sold me a 7 year 70,000 mile warranty , specifically stating it was not similar to my previous warranty (insurance policy it turned out to be). i paid 1700 dollars for a warranty that does not cover what i was lead to believe it would. *jb | |||

| Tl*the contact owns a 2004 dodge ram 2500. while driving 30 mph, the warning lights illuminated and the accelerator pedal extended to the floor. the contact was unable to avoid running a red light. the dealer stated that the computer needed to be reset. the failure recurred and the dealer stated that the throttle sensor needed to be replaced at the cost of $450. the failure mileage was 50,100 and current mileage was 50,114. updated 04/23/08. *lj after the dealer replaced a part, the consumer still experienced the same problem. the dealer then told the consumer there may be a short in the wiring harness under the dash that goes to the cruise control and the dash would need to be taken apart to fix the wiring. updated | |||
