| My directional has failures, i will turn on to make a left turn and the right signal will flash. sometimes the directional will not work at all. sometimes it will signal right and then left all on its own. then it will work fine. i found simular problems in forums for 2006 but nothing for 2005. i contacted the dodge dealer service department and he knows nothing about a recall. i found an action number on your website, pe08059, with the same problem but different year and different type of ram. i think this is a safety issue, and there should be a recall | |||

| I was in the left turn lane with my left blinker activated and my buddy that was behind me called me on the cell phone and said thet my right turn signal was on. the inside one was indicating a right turn condition, but the turn signal handle was positioned for a left turn. the next day i hooked up to a trailer the next day and turned my left turn signal on and walked back to check my trailer lights and my right turn signals were blinking. i looked for this problem, but it is listed for the 2006 dodge 3500 | |||

| Tl-the contact owns a 2005 dodge ram 2500. while driving at approximately 40 mph the driver attempted to engage the left turn signal but the right turn signal came on. the vehicle was taken home and parked. while parked he was able to duplicate the failure. the turn signals will either not come on or the opposite turn signal will illuminate. the vehicle was not taken to be examined for the cause of failure and has not been repaired. he also stated that when the windshield wiper was set on intermittent it would swipe multiple times. the failure and current mileages were 44,000. the vin was unavailable. sm. | |||

| I have a 2005 dodge ram truck 2500. the turn signal switch fails and when turning left signal it will switch to right blinker which is very unsafe. and confuses other drivers as well. it is a very unsafe situation, when towing a trailer etc. and just normal driving. i have heard about this from many other owners on line about this problem. it should be a recall because there are too many incidents about this problem. thanks,bob ps i only have 22,000 miles on this rig. this problem happens all the time now. *tr | |||
