Vehicle has a death wobble, dealerships keep replacing steering damper, three times since 2009, it comes on unexpectedly, the problem is in the front end, just turned 40,000 miles, i will not allow anyone to drive this truck, it is an accident waiting to happen, dodge dealerships will not resolve the issue correctly. thus why it has only 40k on it. i do not want to even drive it over 45 mph. it has the problem again, i would like to trade it in, but do not want to give someone this headache. i will not even drive with my children in this truck. also have had egr valve issues. please force dodge to do something before someone that does not know how to handle vehicles like this get behind the wheels and kills a family. thank you. *tr

Tl- the contact owns a 2008 dodge ram 3500. the contact stated that while driving 40 mph, the vehicle began to shake violently. the contact had to decelerate in order to regain control. the contact moved the vehicle over and looked under the vehicle where she noticed that the front passenger side lower control arm was fractured. the contact drove the vehicle to the dealer for inspection where they stated that both control arms needed to be replaced. the vehicle was repaired but the failure recurred. the manufacturer was notified and stated that she needed to pay for the repair and they would refund her the money for the parts but not the labor costs. the failure mileage was 58,000. kmj

Driving 40 mph over a bridge, the front end of the vehicle became completely uncontrollable. the front wheels were violently shaking and the steering wheel could not be controlled due to the abrupt and violent steering shaking and vibration. it felt like the front wheels were going to break off the truck. i had to jam on the brakes and come to a complete stop in traffic. *tr

Tl*the contact owns a 2008 dodge ram 3500. while driving between 50-70 mph, the front end of the vehicle began to wobble uncontrollably. the wobbling would not stop until the vehicle was at a complete stop. the dealer stated that the failure was a non-warranty related issue and the contact would be liable for the repairs. the contact believes this is a safety issue because it feels that the front end of the vehicle will detach while driving. the current mileage was 41,000 and failure mileage was 30,000.
