| Tl-the contact owns a 2006 dodge ram 2500 diesel. while driving at 70mph the vehicle completely shuts off. the vehicle was moved to the side of the road and was towed to the dealer. the dealer stated the ecm and tipm both failed on the vehicle. these are the computers that controlled the vehicle. the ecm was under warranty and the dealer will repair free of charge but the tipm was not covered under the warranty and will cost $2500 for repairs. the manufacturer was contacted and informed her whatever the dealer stated they will repair they will adhere to it. the failure mileage was 80,000....mw | |||
