 Tl-the contact owns a 1993 ford f-250. while driving approximately 55 mph, the contact noticed the speedometer and cruise control failed to operate. in addition, the abs warning indicator illuminated on the instrument panel. the warning light remained illuminated until the engine was turned off. there was a recall under nhtsa campaign id number 8v051000 (vehicle speed control:cruise control); however the vin was not included. the contact experienced the similar defect as mentioned in the recall. the vehicle had not been repaired. the manufacturer was made aware of the problem. the approximate failure mileage was 145,000. js
