 Both rear brackets behind the rear axle were cracked.*mr failure was discovered during a tire replacement. consumer contacted the dealership who told him to take the motorhome to a authorized dealer. the repaired called for welding the cracks and adding two side braces. *ph

 While driving at 65 mph, the consumer heard a loud explosion. after stopping the vehicle the consumer found that the rear right inside tire blew out at the side wall. *jb the mechanic told the consumer that either the vehicle over loaded or the tire was under inflated. the 2004 motor magazine stating that the tires were not recommended for motor homes because they do not hold up well. they recommend an all steel tire not a tire that has steel belted tread and a polyester sidewalls like the one that the sidewall blew out. *sc *jb

 Tl*the contact owns a 1995 fleetwood bounder. the contact received recall notice number 05s28 (wiring harness) in august of 2007. he immediately called the number on the recall letter and was informed that the parts would be unavailable until december. when he called again, he was informed that the parts would be unavailable until january or february of 2008. the contact stated that he will not get the vehicle speed control disconnected because he will not drive the vehicle. there had been no failure to date. the current mileage was 70,000.
