Defect SummaryVehicle description: recreational vehicles using gas/electric absorption refrigerators supplied by norcold. the swivel nut which is an integral connection component of a pressure tap device has stress corrosion cracking.
Consequence SummaryThis cracking can lead to an open fracture in the brass nut, potentially allowing propane gas to leak.
Corrective SummaryNorcold is conducting the notification and remedy for this recall. dealers will remove the swivel nut/pressure tap component and replace with a remedy kit.

 From 1996 until mid year 2003 coleman pop up campers mad by fleetwood used an abs plastic roof. these roofs are prone to sagging, cracking and delamination. these roofs had a serious manufacturer design defect. in the raised position if a complete failure occured great bodily injury or death may occur.
