| Defect Summary | On certain travel trailers equipped with samsung microwave ovens, these ovens were produced with a defective panel. an electrical short can occur between circuit patterns on the membrane panel, especially overlapped by a jumper or jump wire. this may cause the oven to activate without pressing any key pads. | |||||||||||||||

| Several complaints listed; promoted and sold as one person operation for rear door converting into a ramp, crashed down on owners head. this is not safe for engress/degress, must modify with extended ramp. also, when loading a motorcycle, the kickstand went through the floor. *ak the consumer states that this is a faulty and dangerous design of the rear wall which converts into a loading ramp. the interior floor had broken under the weight of a goldwing 1500cc motorcyle. the interior components beds, faucet and drawers had broken on their first use. two people sustained injuries due to a defective elements. warranty not honored. the vehicle number is 0955. the consumer would like to be reimbursed $16900.00, for the amount paid for the vehicle and also offered to use that money for a purchase of another by the same company. *scc | |||

| Dometic rv refridgerator recall by company at your request. i have verified that my refridgerator was subject to the recall by dometic, and verified on their web site by serial number as one that was affected by the recall.*ak i called their phone number 1-888-446-5157. i received a answer from a person after being on hold for one hour and 30 minutes. this was on 03122007. they said they would send me out the forms i needed to file a claim as i have already had the severe leak and had to have the unit replaced on 08022006. it was very, very costly and i had to pay for it in full to be repaired. i asked the person on the phone line for the reimbursement forms as required by their recall notice..she said they would be sent out and if i did not receive them in 30 days to recontact them and ask again. i have tried that and dont feel i need to play the phone game for more hours to get a serious problem taken care of...it is almost impossible to get through on thier line and get another person to talk to..can you stay on hold during work hours at work for hours at a time to do it again and again to get a response. i have made my claim now they need to follow up and be more user friendly....that phone line is an absolute joke !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have already made on claim and sent email to dometic. now i am asking for your help in getting them to react to a claim already filed verse me spending more time and getting nowhere!!!!!!!!! my model number is rm2652 serial number is 02000054.....now it is their turn to contact me.....i can not afford to take off work and stay on a phone line for hours to get some help with their recall notice......i need some help getting someones attention as i feel this is done to keep from being finacially responsible for thier defect to a consumor complaint........like they want us to give up and stop~!!!!!!!!!! | |||

| Travel trailer bumber fell off unit due to bad weld points while traveling on hwy. these bad weld points is consistant along the whole frame of this travel trailer. i have taken the unit back to the dealer and have informed them, that i would not be responsible for towing this safey hazard for others or myself on the hwy. and they need to replace this unit. does units have to pass any highway safety regulations to be sold to the public?*ak | |||

| Dt: the contact owns a 2001 fleetwood prowler. the contact did see a nhtsa campaign recall 05v289000 on the 2004-2005 fleetwood prowler for the cross member. the cross member on vehicle fell off tono the the ground while pulling into a parking lot. the vehicle was taken to dealer for service twice. the first time was a truck repair close to where the incident occurred, the second time it was taking to a fleetwood dealer. they rewelded the cross member to the fifth wheel. *ak | |||
